If you’re a Mustang guy or gal and on Instagram, chances are you have seen this incredible ’65 Pro Touring 'Stang owned by Roy Adams, AKA Steady Dipped. He does a great job on social media and we just kept seeing this car over and over so much that we just had to reach out to him about doing a little Customer Spotlight on his build. Hope you like it as much as we do…

Melvin is California dreamin’ on the west coast right now with his ’68 Mustang Convertible newly powered by our 567HP 363ci Stroker Ford! It has been great to follow along with his build via Instagram. Tons of pride and passion from him to get his dream car rolling the way he always wanted it to.

One of the best parts of doing what we do here is getting to meet our customers, learning their stories…and of course, seeing and hearing their rides! Chris’ 1967 Mustang Fastback Shelby GT500 Clone build is definitely right up there at the top. “I’ve dreamed about building this car for 20 years and there is no expense being spared on it,” explained Chris. “I proudly tell people that Prestige Motorsports built the engine.” We certainly appreciate that, Chris!

We love Fox Bodies! We also love when Fox Body Mustang’s choose Prestige for the power. Daidrian has been just a great customer to deal with and is really making things happen getting our 554HP 363ci small block Ford installed into his ’86 Fox.

Over the course of the last 15 years building engines here at Prestige, we’ve learned that there is a large Ford contingent over in Australia. Dee purchased a semi restored ’66 Ford Fairlane 500 a few years back…what he called a “poverty pack.” The car had 4-wheel drum brakes, manual steering, no power brakes or A/C and a 289 under the hood.

With our Centroid A560 CNC machine and our new Rottler HX85AX hone, not only do we machine our blocks to our high specifications, but we also offer the same high quality machine work to you for your block machining needs. From boring, decking, line honing, rod clearance, ½” studs for LS platforms, correcting lifter bore locations, Flame hooping blocks, and Torque plate honing, we can do it. Thursday morning, October 13, 2022, started out like any other day at Prestige Motorsports, the North Carolina weather was perfect(mid-70’s), we started building custom engines, but by 12—noon, we had over 60 Fox-Body Mustangs lined up in the parking lot for shop tours, engine dyno and hub dyno demos and food for all! At Prestige Motorsports, we love to meet the people who support us and Foxtoberfest 2022 was the perfect occasion.

As an engine builder, we try to attend multiple events each year to get out and meet the people we sell our engine packages to and spread the word about our company and services. Holley’s LS Fest and Ford Fest did not disappoint! This year we got to meet a lot of great people! The racing, drifting, car show and off-road events did not disappoint. If you are into the smell of burning rubber, race gas and watching some of the best drivers around, sliding their whips sideways around an oval track, drag racing and off-road bashing, these events are for you!
