Foxtoberfest 2022 Brought In A Lot Of Fox Body Mustang Owners From All Over The U.S.!
Thursday morning, October 13, 2022, started out like any other day at Prestige Motorsports, the North Carolina weather was perfect(mid-70’s), we started building custom engines, but by 12—noon, we had over 60 Fox-Body Mustangs lined up in the parking lot for shop tours, engine dyno and hub dyno demos and food for all! At Prestige Motorsports, we love to meet the people who support us and Foxtoberfest 2022 was the perfect occasion.
While the show was going on, one of our Holley Tuning Experts - Justin tuned Joe’s 1956 Ford F100 show truck with his new Borla 8-stack and Holley’s TerminatorX Engine Management System on the hub dyno, and it put down an impressive 440HP / 494TQ to the rear-wheels while still being a very street friendly driver and show truck!
Justin also helped with some tuning issues for people who couldn’t find support elsewhere and was able to get them dialed-in! Below you can see Justin is tuning Lala’s Single-Turbocharged Fox-Body Mustang with Holley’s Hi-Ram Intake System and Holley’s TerminatorX Engine Management System. She brought her Mustang all the way from Michigan for this year’s Foxtoberfest celebration.
Cory, our resident head and valvetrain guru is also a great cook! He smoked a few butts the day before and grilled some burgers to help feed the masses, while the rest of the guys in the shop helped to answer questions and guide visitors in the right direction.
Our owners Doug and “Sr.” were available for Q & A and everyone seemed to be enjoying the day when the engine dyno lit-up and everyone headed for the dyno room for a demo. See it run above.
Daidrian was gracious enough to let us use his new 363ci - 554HP / 446TQ Holley Fuel Injected Ford Small Block for dyno runs to show everyone this important part of the process that makes us unique. Every engine we build is dyno tested and tuned before leaving the shop. This engine is going into this great looking 1986 Mustang Fox Body and will surely impress the owner the first time he lays into the loud pedal!
The engine run stand was a hit with Ted’s 427ci Ford Windsor Small Block topped with Holley’s Hi-Ram Intake System, a Holley 105mm Throttle Body and Holley’s TerminatorX Engine Management System, pumping out 584hp. The exhaust system we connected to this engine on the run stand features Doug’s Ceramic Coated Header, Borla S-Type mufflers with remote controlled side exit cut-outs making it sound like a NASCAR racecar was on the property. See run stand video here.
Here is one you don’t see very often. Brent from Hicks House Videos brought his 1985 Mercury Capri RS Fox-Body. The Capri RS, sports a 5.0L 302ci V8, a 5-Speed manual transmission and a Holley 650 double pumper 4-barrel carburetor. The suspension has been upgraded to adjustable coil-over shocks and sits on a great looking set of ESR – Forgetech RF15 Aluminum wheels in Brushed Champagne Bronze finish. The front brakes have been upgraded to Brembo's and the exterior has a two-tone wrap to finish off the look. Great job Brent and Monica!
Here is Justin tuning on this great looking Black Supercharged 5.0!
All in all, it was a great day to be at Prestige Motorsports in Concord, NC., and we look forward to Foxtoberfest 2023 for more food, fun, and even more Mustangs!/p>
