Big week this week at Prestige with the FoxtoberFest car show taking place this Friday and Saturday. Preparing for that along with the normal weekly happenings in our performance shop and engine shop has made it a busy time for everyone. We’ve really got some big things coming down the pike and we cannot wait to share them all with you guys and gals down the road...so #staytuned :).
Prestige Motorsports will be at the FoxtoberFest Friday evening from 4 - 9PM and again on Saturday from 7AM - 4PM. The show takes place at the Kannapolis Intimidators baseball field, just down the road from our shop so we just had to be a part of it. 400+ Fox Body Mustangs in one place so where else would we be? We will have our 347 Ford Giveaway engine on hand with our Ultimate Turnkey Package runstand so we can crank it up for everyone at the show. The engine will be given away on December 2, 2019 so be sure to register for free at www.holley.com/win.
If you’re in town for FoxtoberFest, stop by our shop on Friday, October 18th from 12-1 for free hotdogs and our informal “open house” for FoxtoberFest Poker Run participants at 1PM. We will have a small block Ford on the dyno running for everyone to check out.
400ci Blown and Blacked out Small Block Chevy:
Our little 400ci small block Chevy with the BDS 871 Stage 2 Blower kit has been garnering quite the attention online..and why not? It features a Dart Machinery SHP 9.0" block, AFR CNC Ported Heads, King Racing bearings, Extreme Duty JE Pistons, an Innovators West, Inc. billet aluminum BDS Blower Damper, Canton Racing Products drag race oil pan, Holley Performance Products Super Sniper EFI and a March Performance blower pulley kit. Dyno results to come!
363 Small Block Ford with Jim Inglese 8-stack Injection and Weber Carburetion:
We have another beautiful looking stacked small block Ford in the engine shop...but this time it’s from Jim Inglese with Weber Carburetion. A great looking system here that is destined for a 1965 replica Cobra. It features a Dart SHP 8.2” deck block, an all-forged rotating assembly, AFR 195cc cylinder heads, March Performance pulley kit and an MSD ignition kit. This is one of our 500HP combinations but we are intrigued to see how it performs with the Jim Inglese setup on top. #StayTuned!
All New Custom Billet Intake from Prestige Motorsports:
Here we have our all-new custom billet intake manifold from Prestige Motorsports Racing Engines! The design was made by a local mastermind and developed with pro stock technology paying attention to runner length, cross-sectional area, and plenum volume. This first design is specifically for the Mast Motorsports Mozes head on an LS Next engine platform we've been developing. Some neat features about this manifold are the adaptability to other platforms such as small block Ford, big block Chevy and many more.
1964 Ford Galaxie Moving Forward:
We've still been digin' on our 1964 Ford Galaxie project here at the shop each day. We've messed around with some potential names for the car and EcoBEAST seems to keep coming up...thoughts? Anyways, the custom cowl fed air cleaner is in process as well as running A/C lines, front bumper/ oil cooler duct fitment and more. We've also nailed down our Budnik wheels and Michelin tires for this badboy. Aim is to have this car at SEMA in 2020! Take a look at some of the updated photos and let us know your thoughts on the build.
